@stonerjesus420 A Disgrace To Pot Heads Everywhere

Posted in Social Media on 04.07.09

I just got in a little e-fight with a guy on Twitter that goes by the name of @stonerjesus420. As much as I’d like to believe that I’m above this petty bickering, I’m not. I live for it. Unlike Mr. T, I suffer fools who need to be put in check.

Aside from the snooze fest that consists of his youtube channel, the combination of him talking way too fast and his southern accent makes him completely unlistenable. Picture the stereotypical fat loser that lives in his mom’s basement in a room that is a museum of marijuana paraphernalia, neckbeard and all. BTW, I have nothing but love for all the big-boned homies out there like me. This is more of an indictment against non-bathing cheeto addicts that make the rest of us look bad.

It would be suicide to watch the whole thing, but fast foward to around 8:00 where it appears that his mom is bugging him while he’s making the video. I assume it’s either his mom or his 300 pound girlfriend. Judging by the accent, it could be both.

He fancies himself a comedian, but he’s not funny. His twitter username is supposed to be ironic, but in reality he is just a satire of his e-self. He is a moron, and worse than that he is a right-wing moron. Smoking weed is supposed to enlighten us, not perpetuate a culture of fear-mongering and intolerance. 90% of what this guy tweets is garbage that he read on conservative blogs and links to the crappy music he listens to every day.

This guy yaps his jaw on Twitter all day talking shit about Obama, and I called him out on it. Yes, I supported Obama in the election but I haven’t been that forgiving of him since he became President. I have criticized Obama on many occasions, but I don’t spread lies and I certainly don’t believe everything that I see on right-wing blogs and Fox News.

The claim that he made was that the White House predicted that the stimulus would create enough jobs to save the unemployment rate from rising past 8%, but you would have to be an idiot to make that claim in the first place. While I admit that I don’t read every single statement that comes out of the White House, it seems like a long shot in hell that something that short-sighted would have come from them. In fact, every statement that I have heard come from the White House has indicated that no one there expects the recession to end until sometime next year. I don’t even think his supporters believed that we would see the fruits of the stimulus package this soon. It would be absolutely absurd for anyone to believe that, especially the White House staff.

So, I called him out on it, and asked him when Obama said this. He mentioned that it had something to do with the predictions that the White House made, and that I should look it up. Right, like I’m going to do his research to prove his point. I asked him for a link to show the evidence of his claims. Instead of looking it up, that lazy coward sent me a google search with the keywords “white house stimulus predictions” of which the top ten results were all right-wing propaganda sites. Still looking for some evidence I asked him to link me to a page on whitehouse.gov to back up his claims. Then he blocked me. (albeit after I hurled a few zingers at him)

Another thing that I called him out on was his claim that the raids on medical marijuana facilities are still going on in California. This time I decided to do his research for him. There have been a handful of DEA raids since he took office, but most of them took place before he signed an executive order relaxing federal laws on medical marijuana. The fact is that Obama has done more for medical marijuana users than any other President in history since the substance was banned in the 30’s. I believe there are some questions as to whether or not Holder is upholding the executive order. The DEA claims that the raids are targeted at medical marijuana facilities that are engaging in illegal trafficking. The issue should be addressed, but let’s give Obama some credit for moving this country in the right direction. After all, he’s only been in office for what, five months now?

Finally, when I confirmed that he wasn’t interested in posting any links to back up his claims, I posted this:

@djmeph: Dear @stonerjesus420, would you please find another team to join and make them look bad instead? I’m thinking the KKK.

@djmeph: P.S. Change your screen name from @stonerjesus420 to @soberkkk666 it would be a relief to all of us true potheads.

@djmeph: P.P.S. You either smoked yourself retarded, or your mom just resigned as governor to take better care of you. @stonerjesus420

I believe that this is what caused him to block me. This did not, however, stop the coward from continuing to talk shit. Furthermore, the humor in those three posts went completely over his head. This son of a bitch thinks that I was associating him with the Klan! I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. I mean, how dumb do you have to be to not understand that i was merely suggesting that he join the klan in order to divert his negativity away from the legalization movement?

Stoner, let me lay this out for you in retard fashion,so you can understand. I don’t want you on my team. I don’t want to have to associate with you. I question my own beliefs knowing that in some absurd way we are both working toward the same goal. You are a disgrace to pot heads, hell you’re a disgrace to fatties. I believe if you took the energy that you are using to make all of us look bad, it would be better suited to making other people look bad, like the KKK. (not that they need any help) If you still think that I am calling you a Klan member, look into social security because I heard the government gives money to people with your condition.

No one (except maybe a few retarded idiots) that voted for Obama expected him to change the climate and direction of this country overnight. There is still a lot of work to be done, but if there is anything that I am impressed with it’s how much has been done to date. I don’t agree with everything that he’s done, but I agree with him more often than not, and I still believe that he is shaping up to become a great president. The opposition continues to berate Obama on a daily basis, yet he is still able to push his agenda. It seems that every issue that comes up turns into a struggle, but Obama has come out on top of the majority of these issues, and for that I’m proud to say that I voted for him.

I’m not proud, however, to call myself a pot head or a supporter of the legalization movement with a jackass like this spewing his filth on the internet. @stonerjesus420 meets all of the stereotypes that led to the prohibition of the substance in the first place. I might even forgive the guy if he was funny, but nothing the guy says has ever made me laugh. (Not even when I’m high!) Most of the time he makes me shake my head in disgust.

What the movement needs now more than ever is intelligent dialogue, and serious contenders promoting the truth. Propaganda and lies are what got us here in the first place. We can win this fight with the truth on our side. We don’t need to spin the truth to make it work for us, we just need more pragmatic policy-makers in office.

Honestly, I could really give two shits about this guy. He is just one out of thousands of people who help perpetuate the stereotypes associated with marijuana abuse. I would encourage @stonerjesus420, and any of his supporters to come here and debate me on this intelligently. We’ve spent the good part of a century under the oppressive hand of prohibition tyrants only to find ourselves in the midst of a President that is finally willing to open up the debate for public discussion. I assure everyone who believes the same as I do, Obama is the best friend we have right now. Sure, we would all love to see him sign an executive order legalizing marijuana tomorrow, but that’s not going to happen. Until that does happen, let’s try not to bite the hand that feeds.

  • A little addendum here, I decided to do stoner's research for him again and got some more insight into these "predictions" that Obama made.

What we're dealing with here is semantics. The White House did predict that the unemployment rate would not rise above 8%, and the unemployment rate did go past that by 9/10s of a point. However, the predictions were wrong because we lost more jobs than predicted, not because the stimulus isn't working the way they planned. I still have yet to find any statement made by the administration that predicts jobs created or saved by the stimulus any earlier than the end of 2010.

In other words, only right-wing idiots believed that Obama wanted to create 3.5 million jobs in four months. There are still people out there bidding for stimulus money for turn-key projects outlined in the bill. My company is one of them. If we get some of the money, we are going to create 100 jobs right here in Michigan, and we're only asking for less than 0.000016 percent of the total stimulus money.

The moral of this story is to stop believing everything your hear on the Glenn Beck program. Although, if you were informed you probably would have voted for Obama in the first place.
